Diagnostic Imaging
Diagnostic imaging exams are used by radiologists to examine a patient’s internal organs and structures to determine the existence of a medical condition. These procedures utilize a variety of imaging technologies that can use x-rays, magnetic fields, and ultrasound together with computers to produce images from which a diagnosis can be made. The type of imaging procedure or technology used depends upon a patient’s symptoms and the part of the body being examined. The proper test for your symptoms is determined by your doctor.

These utilize specific imaging technologies to provide the radiologist with information to help make an accurate diagnosis. Some of the exams include:
Mammography
- Digital Screeening
- Digital Diagnostic
Breast Imaging
- Breast MRI
- Breast Ultrasound
- Ductography
- MRI guided breast biopsy
- Stereotactic breast biopsy
- Ultrasound guided breast biopsy
- Computed aided detection (CAD)
Screening Services
Diagnostic imaging screening services are procedures that are used to check for disease in asymptomatic patients, provide information on patients with established disease processes, check on the benefit or side effects of other treatments, or to determine if a patient is free from a specific disease.
